Fundraiser Warning - Attention Businesses and Residents

A group under the name of the "A.F.P. - Association for Firefighters & Paramedics" has been actively soliciting donations in this area.  The group allegedly has been claiming that it is supported by local fire departments.  THIS IS NOT THE CASE.  This group is a privately run "charity" that is in no form associated with any fire department.  "DONATIONS" SOLICITED, IN NO WAY SUPPORT LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS.  The group also has been attempting to collect "authorized donations" by sending false invoices claiming that they were authorized.  Please see the items below for more information.

Parking and Roadway Concerns
MCFD has been asked by City Council to develop a list of areas and issues that apparatus encounter within the City that are difficult to maneuver through and around.  A presentation was prepared and presented to both City Council and the Safety Committee for review.  The documents below outline the areas and issues that we encounter while traveling the streets of Milford in fire apparatus.  Please keep in mind that these are not necessarily things that will be changed, they are just to make everyone aware of what we encounter on the streets and possible solutions for discussion.
